Gussmann Technologies

The company was incorporated on 14th July 1994 as “Gussmann Sdn Bhd” being importers and exporters of electrical apparatus and electronic goods. Fast forward to 2001, we assumed our current name of “Gussmann Technologies Sdn Bhd” along with a change in our nature of business.

Our current business services include the application of electronic products that are able to integrate with computing systems.

Gussmann Sdn Bhd was incorporated. The Company started as importers and exporters in electrical apparatus and electronic goods.

2000

Started the design and development of ICT products including In-vehicle Tracking System, Remote Monitoring System, and various types of a customized software system.

First generation of AVLS (Automatic Vehicle Locating System) G9 was developed by the company using Siemens SMS modem as communication tool for data sending.

1994

First 24hr Operator Call Service Center was set up to monitor and track customers' vehicles in real-time.

2nd Generation of GPS Tracking System was launched, code-named G13 and in the same year, we launched the first fuel monitoring system for diesel trucks in Malaysia.

First fully web-based real-time tracking system was developed using digitized AspMap on Microsoft .NET Platform.

Formed the team to design and develop the highly customized TMS & HMS software for the transportation industry.

2nd Generation of Fuel Level Sensors were developed and launched to the market with improvements in accuracy, stability, and more rugged design.

Launched Mobile Data Terminal for work order integration.

3rd Generation of GPS Tracking System was launched, code-named MT. Many new features were designed for the new system with 3G connectivity. At the same time, 3rd Generation Fuel Level Sensors with Modular design were developed.

Launched the Fleet Monitoring System and 1st Version of Mobile Application for Fleet Monitoring.

Launched the Transportation Cloud Management System and obtained the DLT certification from Thailand Government.

Obtained the NTC certification from the Philippine government for the 2nd Version of Mobile Application for Fleet Monitoring.

4th Generation of GPS Tracking System was launched, code-named MT9. Many new features were designed for the new system with 4G connectivity.

Launched the Tyre Monitoring System and 3rd Version of Mobile Application for Fleet Monitoring.

Present

Gussmann is currently moving beyond GPS Tracking. We are building an ultimate transportation cloud by integrating all systems. This will enable users to access, monitor, control, and plan effectively and efficiently using the information gathered, and therefore helping them to achieve better operational excellence.
